Rates, thresholds and rules change, and we will sometimes get things wrong. When we do, we fix it in the open.

Reporting an error

Email hello@secondview.info with “Correction” in the subject. Tell us the page, what’s wrong, and a source if you have one.

Rather not use email? The question form works too. Start your message with “Correction”. We only reply about the correction itself, never with advice about your situation.

How fast we fix it

We aim to check every report within two working days. A wrong figure is corrected or removed as soon as it’s confirmed. If we can’t confirm it quickly, we take the figure down while we check, rather than leave a doubtful number up.

How corrections are shown

A corrected page carries a note saying what changed and the date we changed it. We don’t quietly edit and move on. Small fixes to spelling or wording that don’t change the meaning aren’t noted.

Figures that age

Every figure on the site shows the date it was checked and where it came from. A figure that is simply out of date isn’t an error, but tell us anyway and we’ll refresh it.
